I'm being optimistic here, see, "Post #1." That suggests I expect future posts. About things I did NOT buy. We'll see. For now, I will talk about this darling Scottie dog rocker. Just LOOK at him! Painted wood with that adorable face and colorful graphics on the inside as well. Folk Art I tell you! That is EXACTLY what this is!
And that price tag? That reads $15. Yup, you read right. Fifteen dollars! But, alas, it is 2 feet long. Somewhat large to just "display" in my house, and, a tad bulky for someone to pay me to ship it to them. (Although I'm sure I will post this and have 32 people tell me that they would have GLADLY paid me $20+ to ship him!) So, instead, I snapped a few pics. The feeling of "I could have had this but did not actually buy it." is almost, almost as good as the "Wow I can't believe I found this for my shop!" feeling and not quite as good as the "Wow, I cannot believe I found this great gift for so and so!" feeling and somewhat short of the "Wow, I cannot believe I found this awesome thing for myself!" feeling. It is, however, a good feeling and I will attempt to continue this trend. If for no other reason than to have something to show my husband once in a while who certainly does not believe there is anything that makes me say "Wow!" that I do not buy, whether for my shop, as a gift, or for myself. See, here is #1.
I like to take pictures of things I’d almost buy (saves me money!)
