Tales from the Rock and Roll Yard Sale

Had a great time yesterday at the Met Cafe Rock and Roll Yard Sale.  Heard some terrific performers and met scads of interesting people!
The photo above is of Miss Wensday performing with the New Medicinals.  Boy can she sing!  And her original songs are fantastic too.

My neighbors at the show were Erica and Jonah Smiley.  She makes gorgeous handmade necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets from semi-precious stones and vintage jewelry pieces and she does it RIGHT!  Check our her Etsy shop Esoterica to see her stuff up close and personal.  Jonah makes stunning handcrafted chainmail pieces for men and women that have amazing textures and complexity.  He does not have an Etsy shop, but, you can see his creations here

I had a great time, but, I'd say most of the attendees were more musically-focused than vintage focused, so anything you see will simply move along with me to the second Top Shelf Flea in three weeks!  I know you all are hungry for vintage there so I will have double the goods, and, bring lots of fresh stock ready for you to peruse!
