The Vintage Bazaar

The Vintage Bazaar is only two days away and Carmen and Ginger is so excited to participate!  I have been snapping pics during the cleaning, pricing and packing process, so decided to put them all together in a little sneak preview blog post for you.   I am selling side by side with my friend Deb from Vintage Haven.  We each have a 10' x10' tent of vintage goodness for you!  We would so LOVE to meet you if you can stop by - please try and remember to say "hello!"

The Vintage Bazaar
June 23rd & 24th
Saturday & Sunday

10am to 5pm
Pettengill Farm
45 Ferry Road
Salisbury, MA

"Whether you are searching for a vintage treasure or a beautiful artisan piece or just looking for something unique to do for the day….The Vintage Bazaar is the perfect place. Stroll through our display gardens, visit each “outdoor boutique”, and stop along the way to enjoy treats from local food vendors. Live music, activities for children, and raffles."

We will have linens, linens, linens galore!

A huge selection of vintage lemonade pitchers and so many more mid-century outdoor living items!

Our "fashion" items for this show are decidedly laid back - from cowboy boots to summer straw hats for hiking and gardening to classic Hawaiian dresses to wear when you sip your lemonade in a breeze at the end of the day!

This is just a taste of the goods we will have for the weekend!  Not shown is a HUGE selection of colorful flower pots and jardinières for the garden, wonderful vintage fabrics for your crafting projects, industrial chic wire trays and baskets, more mid-century kitsch and kitchen, antique embroidered linens, vintage photos, albums, books and so much more!

Happy Father's Day!

I was poking through some vintage photos I'd set aside and realized I'd already compiled a great set of dad photos!  How fitting then, to share them with you today.  That is me above, by the way, with my dad, in 1966, in front of a clock that my husband would kill for today!  (Sadly, no longer in the family as a mid-century heirloom.) I had a "Mohawk" hair style when born, so, they called me "the little Indian."  Love Dad's skinny tie!  Happy Father's Day Dad!
